Kumarpara Bansi Gopal Satra Stolen Idol Recovered In Swift Police Action

GUWAHATI: In a flurry of temple break-in incidents, another theft has been reported in the Kumarpara Bansi Gopal Satra at Sualkuchi. The main idol of the satra was stolen and reported on Wednesday. A case (08 / 19 U/S 380) was registered.

Within 24 hours, Sualkuchi police managed to nab the thief, one Jubeen Das from Koibartapara in Sualkuchi. The idol has been recovered and restored.
