GUWAHATI, June 15: Incessant rain over the last two days in Guwahati is alarming the city residents, as the eventuality has resulted in landslides causing minor damages. The places encountering landslides in the first wave of the summer are, Mekhela Hujua Path at Nilachal Hill, Birubari, Nursery, near Maligaon and Durga Sarubar. Over the last two days, incidents of sliding have damaged concrete walls at Mekhela Hujua Path and Birubari. However, no untoward incidents were reported. At Nursery, a boulder stone fell down to the road side. Moreover, heavy sliding mixed with stone, mud and a tree created havoc at Durga Sarubar.
