LDCM Demands Mising Land Under Sixth Schedule of the Constitution
The President of Liberal Democratic Council of Mising Land (LDCM), Rohan Patir said that they want Mising Land in the Northeastern region of the country

Guwahati: "Even after 74 years of India's independence, we have not been recognized in the Constitution and are deprived from human rights. We want Mising Land in the North Eastern part of the country so as to be recognized as a community by the world," said Liberal Democratic Council of Mising Land (LDCM) president RohanPatir on Friday.
The LDCM members demanded Mising Land (autonomy) on the basis of Sixth Schedule of the Constitution for financial, educational, and political freedom. They also demanded an investigation in the MAC (Mising Autonomous Council) scam on the basis of the CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India) report for misuse of the funds of the Government of Assam.
