Leadership Conclave Held at ITA, Machkhowa

GUWAHATI: A conclave on Leadership in the age of Disruption under the aegis of North East Management was held at ITA, Machkhowa on Tuesday. The conclave comprised of four-panel discussions. The first being ‘Be prepared to reinvent’. It was held that change is the only constant and that today the speed of change has become overwhelming. With the rapid development of data, communication and automation technologies all the enterprises face a threat to their very existence.

The second discussions were on ‘The Disrupter’, the third was on ‘Effects of Disruption on Employment’ and the fourth was on ‘Managing Disruptive Changes’. Effects of Disruption on Employment was about robotics, machine learning, augmented intelligence and artificial intelligence. The conclave was graced by DN Barua, president of Guwahati Management Association, Sanjive Roy, General Manager Northeast Frontier Railway and TV Mohandas Pai, president All India Management Association & Chairperson, Manipal Global Education Services.
