Lockdown violation continues, Assam Police made 1,074 arrests with 446 cases registered

GUWAHATI: Amid the 21-day nationwide lockdown, Assam Police has made 1,074 arrests in the state with 446 cases being registered till Sunday.

According to reports, total number of incidents reported till Sunday, stands at 794. Additionally, 4293 vehicles have been seized.

The department has arrested seven people in connection of spreading rumours of provocative content on Social Media. It stated that around 12 cases have been registered till date and 80 people have been counseled.
