Logo and website of Progressive People's Foundation (PPF) launched in Guwhati

GUWAHATI: The logo and website of Progressive People's Foundation (PPF) was launched at the general meeting of the Foundation held in the city on Sunday.

The chief guest on the occasion was Dr Abdul Latif, leading ophthalmologist and retina specialist of Assam. He said, "PPF has done a lot of humanitarian work within months of its inception. With the launch of its logo and website, I'm sure, the sphere and reach of PPF's work will touch the lives of a larger number of people in the coming days."

Addressing the meeting, Rafique Ahmed Laskar, informed that soon after being registered as a Public Welfare Trust, PPF has increased the volume of its voluntary and humanitarian work in a big way. Recently, PPF donated 100 blankets for use by patients of the Cachar Cancer Hospital, Silchar.
