Major reshuffle in Assam Police

GUWAHATI: The State Home Department has carried out a major reshuffle in the Assam Police vide a Notification issued on Wednesday.

Shiladitya Chetia, Commandant of the 4th APBn, Kahilipara, Guwahati has been given additional charge of Superintendent of Police (R&AC) Special Branch Headquarters, Kahilipara in addition to his current duties.

Dr Dhananjay Parashuram Ghanawat, Superintendent of Police of Sonitpur, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Administration), Assam. He will take over the charge of Assistant Inspector General of Police (Administration) as and when Amanjeet Kaur, Assistant Inspector General of Police (Administration), is released for deputation to the Government of India.

Yuvraj, Commandant of lst APBn, Ligiripukhuri, Sivasagar has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police of Charaidco in place of Sudhakar Singh, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Guwahati in place of Subhrajyoti Bora.

Subhrajyoti Bora, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police of Sivasagar in place of Rakesh Raushan.

Mohan Lal Meena, Superintendent of Police, Sadiya has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Jorhat.

Pushkin Jain, Additional Superintendent of Police, Nalbari has been allowed to hold charge and post in the rank of SP/CO and has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Sadiya in place of Mohan Lal Mcena.

Sushanta Biswa Sarma, Superintendent of Police, Darrang has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police of Sonitpur in place of Dr Dhananjay Parashuram Ghanawat.

Raj Mohan Roy, Commandant, 1st APTF Bn, Dakurbhita, Goalpara has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Darrang.

Leena Doley, Superintendent of Police, Biswanath has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Nagaon.

Ajagwran Basumatary, Superintendent of Police, West Karbi Anglong, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 3rd APBn, Titabor, Jorhat in place Imdad Ali.

Navin Singh, Superintendent of Police (Security-II to Chief Minister), Special Branch Headquarters, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Biswanath.

Imdad Ali, Commandant, 3rd APBn, Titabar has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, West Karbi Anglong.
