Man beats mother mercilessly in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A merciless incident was reported in Guwahati, where an old woman was allegedly tortured physically by her son, leaving people in shock. The man is identified as Samajyoti Bharali. The incident took place at Forest Gate in Hengrabari near the District Commissioner’s Office. According to police sources, the son used to beat his mother ruthlessly. The main reason for this merciless act is not known. Further, the man was taken by the Dispur police and is being interrogated.
