Man escapes from custody of Dispur Police, nabbed
An accused in a domestic violence case fled from the custody of Dispur Police on Tuesday while he was being taken for medical examination.

GUWAHATI: An accused in a domestic violence case fled from the custody of Dispur Police on Tuesday while he was being taken for medical examination. However, the accused was chased by police officials, who managed to nab him in the Beltola area.
According to reports, the accused — Utpal Saikia was held following an FIR lodged by his wife alleging domestic violence. He is a native of Dibrugarh and was residing at Beltola.
