Man Kills Wife With A Stick In Noonmati

GUWAHATI: A married couple Junwara Begum, 28, and Safijul Ali, 32, who were residing at a rented house in Panipat, Noonmati, fell into a disagreement. Ali reportedly hit his wife with a stick on March 3 and Begum had to be admitted to a private hospital, who succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday. Family members of the deceased lodged an FIR (116/19 U/S 304 (B)) against Ali at Noonmati police station. The accused has been taken into judicial custody.
