Man mauled by leopard in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A 45-year-old man named Alongjit Basumatary was injured when a leopard attacked him in the Dotalpara locality in the Fatasil-Ambari area here on Sunday. Basumatary was initially admitted to the Dhirenpara FRU after the attack, but was subsequently shifted to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). He has sustained injuries to his right hand and right ear, sources said.
