Mega motivational Covid vaccination drive to be carried out

GUWAHATI: A mega motivational drive will be carried out in the state so that the people who are yet to vaccinated come voluntarily go for the anti-covid vax. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, his cabinet colleagues, and government employees will participate in the drive.

It will be conducted house to house in each polling station.

First, the list of people who are yet to be vaccinated will be prepared in the respective polling stations. Then, the teams will proceed to each house and motivate the residents to ensure that all members of the respective families are vaccinated.

This seven-day motivational drive will start on October 29.

Till 7 pm on Friday, altogether 3,25,08,614 doses have been administered in the state. of this, a total of 2,09,86,313 people have been administered the first dose while 1,15,22,301 have got the second dose.

On Friday, vaccination was administered in 3,413 sites. Meanwhile, a total of 59,40,040 doses of covid vaccines are available till Friday morning in the state.
