Metalic lamp of Ugratara temple found

GUWAHATI: The metallic lamp that was stolen along with the centuries-old astadhatu idol from the Ugratara temple recently was recovered by the police from a scrap yard in the Chabipul area on Thursday night. The temple management committee has identified the lamp. The temple management committee will hold a meeting on Saturday.
