Mild intensity earthquake of 4.3 magnititude jolts Assam and region

GUWAHATI: A mild intensty earthquake measuring a magnitude of 4.3 jolted Guwahati city at 7:21 pm on Thursday. Tremors were felt across the region and also in neghbouring countries of Bhutan and China.

The epicentre was detected near Sarthebari in Assam. There are no reports of property damage or injuries.
