Minor girl rescued by Central Guwahati Police District

GUWAHATI: A team of the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) from the Satgaon Police Station on Tuesday rescued a minor girl of Barpeta Road after she was reported missing by her parents. According to police sources, a boy from Palhaji in Barpeta had taken her to his rented place at Botahguli in Panjabari here, from where she was recovered. The girl was later handed over to her parents, the sources said.
