GUWAHATI: Only two days are left for people to apply for disposal of land-related problems through the portal basundhara. assam. gov.in as the portal will close on November 30 midnight.

Talking to The Sentinel, State Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Jogen Mohan said, "Till today evening we have received 3,77,761 applications through the portal. The process of disposal of cases has started and so far 35,106 applications have been disposed off." He further said, "By November 30, whatever applications we receive will be disposed off in a phased manner on a mission mode on or before May 10, 2022."

The minister said that this was the first time that land-related issues would be disposed off on a mission mode. "This has been possible due to the initiative of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma."

With the theme Mor maati, mor adhikaar (my land, my rights), Mission Basundhara was launched to provide nine land-related services on a mission mode. The nine services that Mission Basundhara will render are – (i) Land mutation by the right of inheritance. (ii) Land mutation after deed registration. (iii) Partition for undisputed cases. (iv) Conversion of annual patta to periodic patta. (v) Reclassification of land. (vi) Striking names of persons who are no longer in possession. (vii) Allotment certificate to periodic patta. (viii) Legacy data update. (ix) Mobile number update of pattadaar.
