Kamrup (Metro) Deputy Commissioner Virendra Mittal takes stock of Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) cleanliness

GUWAHATI, July 11: Paying a short visit to the Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital, Panbazar this morning, Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner Virendra Mittal expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness and smooth management by the hospital authority, a government communiqué said.

“This is one of the best government hospitals,” he remarked. The DC praised the hospital authority along with the staff for their efforts to make the hospital a clean and well-managed one. He also interacted with the staff and ANM students of the hospital. Mittal was detailed about the state of affairs by hospital superintendent Dr Madhav Rajbongshi. During his visit, Mittal took stock of the wards of each department, operation theatre and blood bank, besides the canteen of the hospital. He also interacted with some of the patients of the hospital, the communiqué added.
