More country liquor dens found in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup (M) Excise Department conducted investigation at Bapuji Nagar and Bishnu Rabha Nagar in Noonmati area on Saturday. Various country liquor dens were discovered and destroyed along with 200 litres of Fermented Wash.

Another investigation at Kachari Basti, Ulubari, led to the discovery of 400 litre of country liquor, which were immediately destroyed, while 6 cartons of IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) were seized. One person has been apprehended in this connection.
