Multiple events under Ayushman Bhavah campaign planned

GUWAHATI: The Ayushman Bhavah Campaign was launched by the President of India from the Rastrapati Bhawan on Wednesday. Keeping up with the same campaign a Seva Pakhwada has been announced from 17 September to 2 October 2023.

As a part of this campaign, the Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0 initiative will run from 17 September to 2 October, 2023. PMJAY card distribution will take place during the duration of Seva Pakhwada, along with e-KYC & ABHA ID creation. Ayushman Mela will take place on Saturdays including 17 September, 23 September, 30 September and 7 October. The Aushman Mela will be organised at all HWCs including SC-HWC, PHC, SD, UPHC, UHWC etc.

The activities to be performed during this mela include NCD Screening, TB Screening, Screening of Leprosy and other Communicable Diseases, Immunization, Early registration of Pregnancy with ANC, SAM children Screening, Yoga, Teleconsultation, AYUSH services, Counselling, PMJAY card distribution, e-KYC & ABHA ID creation.

CHC-level Health Mela will be organised from 17 September to 2 October and will be supported by the medical college with specialist doctors of Obesity and Gynaecology department, Pediatricians, Surgeons, Anesthetist, Eye Specialist, Dermatologist, Psychiatrist, Dental Surgeon etc. These melas will take place at the Dhirenpara FRU, Pandu FRU, Khetri CHC and Satgaon SD in Kamrup Metropolitan district.

Activities to be performed include NCD Screening, TB Screening, Screening of Leprosy and other Communicable Diseases, Diagnosis and basic advanced health care through specialized care (O&G, Pediatrician, Surgeon, Anesthetist, Eye Specialist, Dermatologist, Psychiatrist, Dental Surgeon etc.) as well as PMJAY card distribution, e-KYC & ABHA ID creation,

Ayushman Sabha including Gram Sabha and Urban Sabha will also be organised as a part of this campaign. These will be organised between 2 October 2023 and 31 December 2023. The activities to be performed include PMJAY card distribution, e-KYC and ABHA ID creation, awareness on NCDs, TB, Sickle cell other communicable diseases.

Apart from these events, cleanliness drives will be organized at all health institutions and so will be blood donation camps and organ donation pledge events.
