National Ayurveda Day: Free Mega Health Camp to be held in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Preparations are underway to celebrate this year’s Dhanwantari Puja, with a two-day diverse programme along with National Ayurveda Day on October 25 and 26, 2019 at the Government Ayurvedic College & Hospital premises. A free mega health and awareness camp will be open to everyone on October 24 (Thursday) in the college, to popularize the emerging Ayurvedic treatments and take it to every nook and corner, so that common people can avail the benefits without hindrance. A team of senior doctors, specializing in different fields would be available from 10 am to 3 pm on National Ayurveda Day. People desirous of availing the treatment have to register their names beforehand. Along with various tests such as blood sugar, BMD, etc, few medicines will also be available free for the patients. The organizing committee is expecting a sizable number of people on the day to make the event a grand success.
