National Disaster Response Force rescues drowning man at Uzanbazar Ghat

GUWAHATI: A team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) deployed at the Uzanbazar Ghat here saw a man drowning about 50 metres from the riverbank and managed to rescue him. According to a press release, the rescued man has been identified as one Suhil Barman (25) and he was later handed over to the police.
