Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Protests Against Citizenship Bill

GUWAHATI: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) had a protest rally on Monday in the city against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill—2016. The party stated in a release, “We will not allow the Citizenship Bill because it will spell a disaster for Assam. If the Hindu Bangladeshis are given recluse in Assam then the state government should prepare for answers under any forthcoming situations”
