GUWAHATI: The Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Sahitya Parishad (NBMSP), Assam, condoled the demise of the former president of the Nikhil Bishnurpiya Manipuri Mahasabha (NBMM) Dr Devendra Kumar Sinha.
Born on August 1, 1951, at Patherkandi in the Karimganj district and brought up by his uncle Late Paran Chand Sinha of Krishnanagar in Durllevcherra, Dr Sinha breathed his last at a private hospital in Silchar on January 27, 2023. Dr Sinha was a social worker and a renowned Gynaecologist of the Barak Valley.
In a condolence message, NBMP, Assam president Dils Lakshmindra Sinha prayed to the Almighty for the eternal peace of Dr Sinha's departed soul. He also expressed his sympathy to the bereaved family members of the gynaecologist.
