NDRF observes Swachhata Hi Sewa

GUWAHATI, Sept 27: The 1st Battalion of NDRF observed Swachhata Hi Sewa in the Kamakhya Temple premises on Thursday in which 65 NDRF personnel cleaned the entire stretch of the road from Bogola Mandir to the Kamakhya temple dispensary. The team also cleaned the parking area, playground behind the dispensary and disposed of garbage, plastic waste and dry leaves. During campaign NDRF personnel generated awareness among devotees, visitors and sadhus on cleanliness and proper waste disposal with an aim to intensify the focus on cleanliness.
