New Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee (APMC) President Nandita Das

GUWAHATI: Nandita Das has been appointed as President of Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee (APMC) on Thursday. Congress President Rahul Gandhi has approved the proposal to the appointment. Das is the MLA of Boko Constituency and has replaced Shahnaz Yasmin Haque. The information has been passed in an All India Congress Committee (AICC) press release signed by party GS Ashok Gehlot.
