NF Railway Women's Welfare Organization donates items to hospital on Independence Day

GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier (NF) Railway Women's Welfare Organization (NFRWWO) celebrated the 76th Independence Day of the nation in a befitting manner by observing various programmes spreading throughout the day.

According to a press release, Abha Gupta, President of NFRWWO hoisted the National Flag at Jagriti Siksha Sadan, Pandu and distributed sweets to the students.

Abha Gupta, along with other members of NFRWWO, also visited the NF Railway Central Hospital at Maligaon. During the visit, she distributed gifts and various other essential items among the patients. She also donated Steel Water Storage Drums and microwave oven to the hospital for use of the patients. She was accompanied by the vice president, secretary and executive committee members of NFRWWO.

NFRWWO plays an important role in the field of employee welfare and need-based social service through its multifarious activities. The organization always rises to the call of society and assists the needy people in difficult times.
