NFR to run more festival special trains during festive season

GUWAHATI: To clear the extra rush of passenger during the ongoing festive season, the NFR (Northeast Frontier Railway) has decided to run some more festival special trains during November 2021.

Among these special trains- as a few express special trains will run between New Delhi–Jogbani, New Delhi – Katihar; Delhi–Katihar, Udaipur–Kishanganj and Jammu Tawi-Katihar for one trip from each direction. Moreover, some passenger special trains has started running between Katihar–Teznarayanpur, Katihar–Jogbani and Dharmanagar–Sabroom for the benefit of passengers during this festive season.

The festival express special trains those will run for one trip from each direction are as follows:

•Train No. 02500/02499 New Delhi–Jogbani–New Delhi Festival special will leave from New Delhi at 11:05 hours on November 5, 2021 to reach Jogbani at 18:00 hours the next day. In the return direction, the train will leave from Jogbani at 21:00 hours on November 6, 2021 to reach New Delhi at 04:00 hours on the third day.

•Train No. 09638/09637 New Delhi–Katihar–New Delhi Festival special will leave from New Delhi at 19-25 hours on 6th November, 2021 to reach Katihar at 22-00 hours on next day. In return direction, the train will leave from Katihar at 01-15 hours on 8th November, 2021 to reach New Delhi at 02:30 hours the next day.

•Train No. 04746/04745 Delhi–Katihar–Delhi Festival special will leave from Delhi at 15:05 hours on November 8, 2021 to reach Katihar at 19:30 hours the next day. In the return direction, the train will leave from Katihar at 22:30 hours on November 9, 2021, to reach Delhi at 02:45 hours on the third day.

•Train No. 09623/09624 Udaipur–Kishanganj-Udaipur Festival special will leave from Udaipur at 16:00 hours on November 7, 2021, to reach Kishanganj at 12: 30 hours on November 9, 2021. In the return direction, the train will leave from Kishanganj at 05:20 hours on November 11, 2021 to reach Udaipur at 01:25 hours on November 13, 2021.

•Train No. 04520/04519 Jammu Tawi–Katihar– Jammu Tawi Festival special will leave from Jammu Tawi at 12:00 hours on November 6, 2021 to reach Katihar at 21:45 hours the next day. In the return direction, the train will leave from Katihar at 00:15 hours on November 8, 2021 to reach Jammu Tawi at 10:10 hours the next day.

•Train No. 01626/01625 Jammu Tawi–Katihar–Jammu Tawi Festival special will leave from Jammu Tawi at 12:00 hours on November 7, 2021, to reach Katihar at 21:45 hours the next day. In the return direction, the train will leave from Katihar at 00:15 hours on November 9, 2021, to reach Jammu Tawi at 10:10 hours the next day.

Among the passenger special trains are:

•Train No. 07521/07522 Katihar–Teznarayanpur–Katihar, Train No. 07536/07535 Katihar– Teznarayanpur–Katihar and Train No. 07545/07546 Katihar–Jogbani–Katihar Festival special (passenger) trains have started running for 10 trips from November 1 to 10, 2021.

•Train No. 05682/05681 Dharmanagar–Sabroom–Dharmanagar Festival special (passenger) has started running for four trips from November 3 to 6, 2021,sated a press release.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N. F. Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey. Passengers are requested to observe the Covid-19 related safety measures and instructions of their respective states during journey.
