NFR to run 'Summer Special' train between Dr Ambedkarnagar and Kamakhya

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run one summer special train between Agartala -Bangalore Cant and a one-way special train from Guwahati to Pune to clear the extra rush of passengers.

GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run one summer special train between Agartala -Bangalore Cant and a one-way special train from Guwahati to Pune to clear the extra rush of passengers. Moreover, it has been decided to revise the route and timings of the summer special train to run between Dr Ambedkarnagar and Kamakhya.

The special trains include-

Ø Train No. 02516 Agartala – Bangalore Cant Superfast special will run two days a week – on Saturday and Tuesday from 24-04-2021 to 11-05-2021 leaving from Agartala at 05-35 hours on nominated days to reach Bangalore Cant at 20-15 hours on the third day. In the return direction, Train No. 02515 Bangalore Cant – Agartala Superfast Special will run two days a week – on Tuesday and Friday from 27-04-2021 to 14-05-2021 leaving from Bangalore cant at 10-15 hours on nominated days to reach Agartala at 03-00 hours on the fourth day.

Ø Train No. 01460 Guwahati – Pune One way special will run on 24-04-2021 leaving from Guwahati at 10-45 hours to reach Pune at 18-30 hours on 26-04-2021.

Ø Train No. 09303 Dr Ambedkarnagar – Kamakhya Summer special will run on April 23 and 30 on Friday leaving from Dr Ambedkarnagar at 12-45 hours to reach Kamakhya on Sunday at 14-45 hours. In the return direction, Train No. 09304 Kamakhya - Dr Ambedkarnagar Summer special will run on April 26 and May 3 on Monday leaving from Kamakhya at 05-35 hours to reach Dr Ambedkarnagar on Wednesday at 05-30 hours. The train will run via Bina junction - Jhansi junction - Kanpur Central with revised route and timings.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available on the Railway's website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N. F. Railway, stated a release.
