NHM lodges FIR against fake appointments of ward boys at GMCH

GUWAHATI: The NHM (National Health Mission) has lodged an FIR at the Dispur Police Station regarding the order of fake appointments of ward boys at the GMCH (Gauhati Medical College and Hospital). According to reports, a fake order was released mentioning appointments of nine persons for the post of ward boy. In this regard, the NHM also informed the GMCH authorities to be cautious about the fake appointment letters. Following the incident, two persons were arrested by the police on Friday after they went to the GMCH Superintendent and informed him about three candidates who have been appointed as ward boys. The arrested persons are – Abdul Kudus Laskar and Rana Ahmed. Further investigation is on.
