Some colleges have charged an amount from students in connection with online admission to provincialized colleges and government model colleges.

GUWAHATI: Some colleges have charged an amount from students in connection with online admission to provincialized colleges and government model colleges. In this regard, the Director of Higher Education, Assam has ordered the Principals of provincialized colleges and government model colleges not to charge any amount for admission to colleges in Higher Secondary and degree classes.
