No joining of workers at Amit Shah rally: BJP president Bhabesh Kalita

GUWAHATI: The October 8 BJP workers' rally in Guwahati to be addressed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party's national leadership JP Nadda will not have any programme for people joining the party.

State BJP president Bhabesh Kalita said, "We have cancelled the programme for people joining the BJP on September 8, 2022, in Guwahati where Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the newly constructed state BJP office at Khanapara."

According to state BJP sources, over 40,000 BJP workers, right from the booth level, will participate in the party rally at Khanapara on that day. Party sources also said that around 5,000 workers and leaders from other parties would join the BJP during the Dipawali.
