Noonmati Police arrested three drug peddlers in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: In the ongoing crackdown on drug peddlers, Noonmati Police arrested two drug peddlers on Saturday night. They have been identified as Muzammil Hussain (41) and Rekibur Rahman (37). While Muzammil was arrested from Masjid Path, Rekibur was arrested from Bishnu Rabha Nagar.

Based on their confession, another drug peddler was arrested from Satgaon, Bahortol. He has been identified as Rakibul Ali (36). Police recovered 1.25 gm of suspected drugs, 19 vials and cash Rs 54,000 from their possession.
