Noonmati Police arrests two molesters

GUWAHATI: The Noonmati police, with the help of Childline, arrested two persons – Somaram Boro (40) and Sokaram Basumotary (41) from Carbon Gate under Noonmati police station on Sunday allegedly for molesting a 13-year-old girl. According to a police source, Sokaram, brother-in-law of the victim, along with his friend Somaram have been molesting the victim over the past 7 months. Meanwhile, a case (No. 683/18 u/s 376 IPC and 6 POCSO Act) has been registered.
