Noonmati Police holds bike lifters

GUWAHATI: Pabitra Medhi (35) of No 2 Ulubari in Tamulpur has been arrested by Noonmati Police on charges of stealing a scooter. Recently Pabitra came to work as a labourer at Sunsali kanchan Nagar, Noonamti at the residence of one Pradip Das. He disappeared along with the scooter of Pradip Das. As he went to his native village at Tamulpur with the scooter, the villagers became suspicious and informed the police. The Tamulpur Police detained and interrogated him and handed him over to the Police. Another Deepak das (38) has also been arrested in this connection and a case has been registered at Noonmati PS.
