Noted Experts to Participate NE Management Conclave

GUWAHATI, Aug 17: Renowned management experts of the country will come to the city next week to inspire youths to become leaders in their chosen fields.

The Guwahati Management Association and All India Management Association, New Delhi are jointly organizing the North East Management Conclave on the theme—Leadership in the age of disruption—at Pragjyoti ITA Cultural Centre at Machkhowa here on August 21. The key note address will be delivered by T.V. Mohandas Pai, president of All India Management Association and chairman of Monipal Global Education Foundation. After the key note address the plenary session of the conclave will start. Ashok Banerjee, president of Kolkata Management Association will conduct a session “Be prepared to reinvent” which will be chaired by Shakuntola D Gemin, IAS and Secretary to Government of India, New Delhi. The topic of the second session “Disrupt the disrupter” will be conducted by Rajib Kaul, chairman of NICCO. Another session “Effect of disruption on employment” will be conducted by management guru Shantikam Hazarika. The session “Managing disrupting changes” will be conducted by W. Synrem, IES, Economic Advisor to North Eastern Council. Dr Mukulesh Barua, director of Assam Institute of Management will also participate. Entrepreneurs and students of colleges, management institutes and universities will be able to take part in the event.
