Notorious Bike Lifters Nabbed By Cops at Assam's Nagaon District

GUWAHATI, Sept 3: The Nagaon police apprehended two bike lifters identified as Deep Medhi (20) and Sahil Haque (19) from Rangolu near Nagaon on Saturday. According to a police source, both Deep and Sahil were riding towards Nagaon on a FZ Yamaha without number plate on Saturday and apparently got a road accident near Rangolu. Following the road accident, the Nagaon police arrived on the spot and on checking their identities and the documents of the bike, the police could realized that they lifted the bikes and was supposed to deliver someone at Nagaon. Hence, after the preliminary investigation, both Medhi and Sahil were handed over to the Bharalumukh police on Sunday following which a case (No 691/18 u/s 457/380 IPC) was registered at the Bharalumukh police station. According to the source, both Medhi and Sahil hail from Bharalumukh.
