Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) Pays Second Interim Dividend

GUWAHATI: Managing director, Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) SK Barua on Tuesday presented the company’s second interim dividend amounting to Rs 77.2 crore to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for the financial year 2018-19 at the Chief Minister’s chamber in the Assam Legislative Assembly here.

The Chief Minister received the cheque as part of the dividend against Government of Assam’s equity holding of 12.35 percent in the company. It may be noted that NRL has till now paid an amount of Rs 127.15 crore as interim dividend for the current financial year 2018-19. The final dividend will be decided at the NRL’s board meeting after the end of the current financial year ending on 31st March 2019.

Industry and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, Additional Chief Secretary Ravi Capoor, senior officials of NRL were present during the presentation of the dividend cheque.
