Nutrition, health and COVID awareness camp held at Assam Sahitya Sabha Bhavan

GUWAHATI: As part of the Rashtriya Poshan Maah, AGNIV Foundation, in association with the Social Welfare Department, Government of Assam, organized a nutrition, health and COVID awareness camp at the Assam Sahitya Sabha Bhavan, Six Mile. The camp was attended by Anganwadi members, children of Panjabari and Hengrabari block and members of Agniv Foundation.

Dr Malleeka Bora of Agniv Foundation was in charge of the awareness camp. Agniv Foundation also distributed 1,000 sanitizers and 1,000 masks among the people and were guided and supported by Ismat Ara Begum, Superviser, ICDS Project Dispur, Social Welfare Department, Government of Assam. Rashtriya Poshan Maah, which is being observed from September 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021 is an initiative under the PM's Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyan which focuses on the health and nutrition of women and children.
