OBITUARY

Mrs Lilavati Das, Retired Vice-Principal of Arya Vidyapeeth College, breathed her last on January 8, 2019 at Apollo International Hospital in Guwahati after suffering from a prolonged illness. She was 71 years old and was an educationist of repute. In addition to being the Head of the English Department in the same college earlier, she was also associated with many socio-cultural organizations. She leaves behind her husband, two sons, daughters-in-law and a grand-child. Her demise has been condoled by many organizations and the students and staff of Arya Vidyapeeth College.
