OBITUARY: Prabir Kumar Datta

Prabir Kumar Datta, former Chief Secretary of Assam, passed away peacefully at his residence due to age-related ailments at about 1 pm on Tuesday. He was accorded a State funeral. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, a daughter-in-law, a grandchild and a host of relatives. May his soul find eternal peace.
