One arrested for theft by police in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Ali Aziz, an employee of AJP Enterprise in Hatigaon, was arrested on Sunday for stealing many items from the shop.

According to sources, Aziz was on the run after stealing various items from the shop in which he was working. He had also allegedly taken money from many people and not returned the money. The shop owner and locals lodged a complaint against him at Hatigaon Police Station. He was caught of the local people on Sunday morning and handed over to the police. His interrogation is on.
