Online teacher-transfer process to begin from November 22

GUWAHATI: The 'Axom Sarba Siksha Mission' has decided to begin the online teacher transfer process in the state from November 22. To implement the process, the online portal 'SSA Assam Mutual Transfer 2021' will also be officially launched on that day. This decision comes after a long-standing demand from the state's teaching fraternity to allow mutual transfer in the state.

In a letter to the Inspector of Schools, District Elementary Education Officers and District Mission coordinators, the Executive Director of Samagra Siksha, Assam -- Dhruba Jyoti Das mentioned that the state government has decided to start the process of online teacher transfer as per the Assam Elementary and Secondary School Teachers' (Regulation of Posting and Transfer) Act 2020. The process of online registration will start from November 22.

After the launch of the portal, the eligible and desired teachers will be able to register themselves on the portal. They will be able to submit their application for transfer to the desired school only after successful registration.
