Paltan Bazar police arrested fake CBI officer

GUWAHATI: Paltan Bazar police arrested a fake CBI officer, Nurulah alias Rahul alias Shakil Sheikh hailing from Hoogly in West Bengal.

According to police sources, a person named Joonmoni Barthakur filed a case (90/21 u/s 419/420/211/389 of IPC) stating that the accused had introduced himself as a CBI officer and demanded Rs 3 lakh from the complainant.
