Paltanbazar police rescued minor girl from Uttar Pradesh

GUWAHATI: The Paltanbazar police has rescued a minor girl, who was abducted from the Rehabari area here on September 3, from the Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police sources said that girl was brought back to the city on Tuesday night along with her abductor Ashok Kumar, who has been arrested.

A case (443/2022) had been registered on September 4 in connection with the abduction on the basis of an FIR filed by the girl's family.
