Parag Das Award to Shantanu Sharma

GUWAHATI: The Parag Kumar Das Journalist Award, 2019 will be conferred to Senior Journalist Shantanu Nandan Sharma of the Economic Times at a prestigious ceremony on February 24. The day is marked as the birth anniversary of the highly acclaimed journalist Parag Kumar Das who highlighted vital social causes through his powerful writings.

Sharma born in Narayanpur, Lakhimpur, joined the Economic Times on 2002. The award will carry a memento, a citation and a cheque of Rs 25 thousand.
