Parties under constant scrutiny ahead of Lok Sabha Polls

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup Metropolitan District officials were entrusted with the duty to monitor Moral Code of Conduct and Election Expanses. A training programme was organized in this regard at the DC Conference Hall, conducted by Nodal Officer cum Additional DC, Lachit Kumar Das on Saturday. Das informed that the two cells play a crucial role for elections and as such, “an eagle eye will be cast upon contesting parties to oversee that no rules are flouted, while every move is constantly monitored.”
