Passenger from Assam dies aboard flight

PALASBARI: A passenger from Assam passed away mid-flight on Sunday under mysterious circumstances while travelling from Chennai to Guwahati on an IndiGo flight.

The deceased person was identified as Haider Ali from Bongaigaon.

An official of the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport, Ruma Devi told the The Sentinel that the passenger named Haidar Ali had breathing problem on board the flight at 7pm on Sunday. He was immediately taken to the MI room where doctors checked and found him unconscious. He was then referred to the Apollo Excelcare hospital where doctor declared that the patient was dead.
