GUWAHATI: The 'Passing Out Parade of 196 RPF constable recruits' was held at the RPF Training Centre, Domohani, NF Railway on Monday. Chief Guest Sanjive Roy, NFR General Manager inspected the Guard of Honour in the presence of Principal Chief Security Commissioner of RPF, NFR, Divisional Railway Manager, Rangiya and other senior RPF and Railway officials.

Among the new constable recruits are 120 from the Northern Railways, 29 from the East Central Railways, 24 from the North Central Railway, 20 from the Eastern Railways, two from the North Eastern Railways, and one from the Northeast Frontier Railways. They participated in the 'Passing Out Parade' (POP) after successful completion of their eight-month rigorous training.

The five best recruits were awarded with medals and certificates by the General Manager.

The parade was organized by maintaining social distance and observing all the formalities related to COVID-19.

Declaring the rewards for the flawless arrangements of the POP and Parade display by the new recruits, the NFR GM also announced suitable rewards for the excellent upkeep of the training centre, stated a release.
