Patgaon-based 1st Battalion NDRF saves man from drowning

GUWAHATI: While ferrying essential commodities to flood-affected people, personnel of the Patgaon-based 1st Battalion NDRF on Thursday noticed a man drowning in the flood water and managed to rescue him.

According to an official communiqué, the rescued man has been identified as one Firoz Ali of Bala Pare village in North Guwahati.
