People have voted for development: Atul Bora
AGP president Atul Bora on Wednesday asserted that the people have supported the BJP-led alliance to bring development in the State and defeat communalism.

GUWAHATI: AGP (Asom Gana Parishad) president Atul Bora on Wednesday asserted that the people have supported the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party)-led alliance to bring development in the State and defeat communalism.
Talking to The Sentinel, Bora expressed gratitude to the people of Assam for taking part in the electoral process; thus, resulting in overwhelming voter turnout in the three phases.
Further, he underlined that the BJP-led coalition government will form the next government in the State.
"The Mitrajoot will perform better than 2016 Assembly polls," Bora added.
It is to be mentioned that, the Mitrajoot-led by the BJP secured 84 seats in 2016. The Mitrajoot also included the AGP.
